Coaching points
– Intercepting player should be light on their feet, up on their toes and ready.
– Intercepting player should attack the line of the ball, cutting it off at the earliest possible point.
– Allow players to anticipate pocket ball, but thrower should pass to stationary goaler if intercepting player takes off too early.
– Thrower can increase difficulty by giving pass less height and more speed.
– Chase up any tips.
