– Communication needs to be clear and loud. Not every player is as comfortable communicating loudly, so look for and encourage small improvements each time you complete the drill.
– Defender on goaler’s side to face forwards and resist urge to turn head. Listen to and trust teammate’s directions.
– After adding ball, player giving instructions should try to maintain vision of both the goaler and the feeder, so they’re ready to react if/when goaler drives to receive ball in middle.
